On March 9th, Ron LaManna passed away surrounded by loved ones at WMC. He was diagnosed in October 2023 with stage four throat cancer & hoping to be cured.
Ron was born on November 27, 1953 in Yonkers to his parents, Nick and Anna (Mirenghi). They predeceased him. Ronnie leaves behind his devoted wife Angela(Tocci), his dear daughter Dana & granddaughter Bryonna. Also his sister Donna (Andy) Schilero. His son/friend/F.F. Paul Holze (Kathleen), our hero, giving Ronnie additional 17 years with kidney transplant to live.
Ronnie (Jake) loved working on the Yonkers Fire Department, from October 1981 - November 2008…27 years always stating it was the greatest job!!! In his younger days he loved to play softball and to bowl. Another love was the game of golf, he enjoyed playing anytime with his friends like Joe and Rocco. He will be missed by many!
Memorial visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8pm. A memorial mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Saturday March 16th at 11am. Final disposition will be private.
