He is survived by his wife Aida Jordan, who shared 40 years of marriage together. They have two daughters and a son, Ashley (Tom) Wolf, Robert (Jennifer) W. Jordan Jr. and Hallie Jordan(John Singh). Six grandchildren, Jordan Wolf, Robert W. Jordan III, Sophia Jordan, Justin Jordan, Rosalee Wolf and Cairo Singh. Three nephews, James, Robert and Joseph Hoffman. He is predeceased by his parents, Francis and Jane Jordan and sister Jane Hoffman.
Born and raised in Yonkers, New York. He attended Saunders Trade and Technical High School. He immediately entered the workforce for Precision Valve Corporation where he was revered by many for 50+ years. He was able to travel the world and support his family for many years. He was an avid car enthusiast that enjoyed attending the Orange County Fair Speedway events. He built engines for four stock cars that were entered in competitive racing, which was his passion.
He will be remembered for his sheer mechanical aptitude, good spirit, his love for his family and animals, race cars, tools, sports, fishing, nature, sitting in the sun, and landscaping. He has left behind a great legacy that has impacted many lives.
Visiting hours will be in the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday from 2pm - 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday January 31st in Sacred Heart Church at 10:30am. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
