Richard C. Pipala

He was born on July 1, 1943 to Edward and Emily Clarke Pipala in Yonkers where he was raised and educated. He attended Holy Trinity Grade School and graduated from Saunders Trade and Technical School. Mr. Pipala was a police officer for the City of Mt. Vernon for twenty eight years retiring in 1999. He also worked as a chauffeur for Midway Limousine for forty five years until he became ill in 2019. He was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Yonkers until the church was closed. On January 2, 1965, he married his loving wife, Adriana Sabatini in Mt. Carmel St. Anthony Church in Yonkers. Mrs. Pipala survives and lives in Yonkers. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Mark Brian Pipala of Yonkers. He was predeceased by a son, David Pipala and a brother Edward Pipala Jr. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday 3-7pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday December 7th at 9:30am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
