He was born on August 2, 1940 in Yonkers to Anthony Pardy and Eleanor Hesseck. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the New York Institute of Technology. He joined the army in 1959 and was stationed in Germany, the Zweibrucken Military Base near Heidelberg. As an MP, he was proud to tell everyone that he guarded Elvis.
He will be remembered by his teasing jokes, generosity and overall good nature. He loved to travel and be with his family. In his retirement, he was a caretaker on an estate. An ardent animal lover, he cared for a pair of swans that brought him tremendous joy. His passion was golf but only second to giving treats to every dog he met. In his later years, when Alzheimer's disease robbed him of his strength and stamina, it also gave him a tenderness that we treasured.
His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his devoted wife, Renee Brousseau; stepchildren Kim King, Nicole Gordon, John Kernan, Kim Wolfe and his eight grandchildren. Survived by his youngest brother, Douglas Pardy (Lou Pardy) and their two daughters, Amber Pardy and Britteny Slater.
His sister Eleanor Siegel predeceased him as well as his first wife, Ann Kernan.
