

She is survived by her Life Partner John (Jack) Devlin and her five children, Edward, Maureen (Steve), David (Carol), Stephanie (Julio) and John (Liz).
She loved and was loved by all her twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren: Dane, Caitlin, Martin, Megan (Brandon), Hayden (Stephanie), Lindsay, Lauren, Erik, Ashley (Kimberley), Taylor, Kendall and Jack; Paige, McKinley, Kellan and Parker. And her loving niece DeAnne Schwendimann.
Maureen was born in Greenock, Scotland to Annie O’Donnell and John McKinlay. At 9 years old she emigrated to the US and lived in Yonkers, NY for most of her life. She worked for the City of Yonkers, most recently as the Payroll Clerk for DPW.
Maureen was known by many names- Mo, Scotty, Nanny and Noony.
Maureen was known for her impeccable style - and her extensive (fabulous) shoe collection!
Maureen was intelligent and had a great sense of humor. She was an avid reader and always knew every answer on Jeopardy.
Maureen loved to travel and returned to her beloved homeland Scotland multiple times to visit family. She also traveled to Egypt, Spain and Greece with her ‘crew’ of friends. She even ziplined in Alaska with her senior travel group.
She moved to Florida in 2022 with her daughter Stephanie.
Family meant everything to Maureen and she will be very missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tidewell Hospice of Bradenton,Florida.
Memorial Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday May 15th from 3-7pm. Funeral service will take place in the funeral home on Friday May 16th at 11am. Final disposition will be private.
