Mary Sidorik

Mary was born on January 8, 1927 to Mary (Buziez) and Steven Diachick in Yonkers, New York where she was raised and educated, graduating from Commerce High School in 1945. She was employed by the Silver Lining Laundry. On August 8, 1970, Mary married the love of her life, Frank Sidorik at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Yonkers. Her husband Frank predeceased her on August 5, 2006. Mary was parishioner of St. Mary’s Church at 108 South Broadway, Yonkers, N.Y. Mary is survived by her devoted niece Diane and devoted nephew Joseph Labick, beloved niece and goddaughter, Maryanne Wylong, beloved nephew Gerard (Peggy) Bielak, great nephews, Joseph Michael and Christopher (Jane) Labick, great nieces, Jeanette (Salvatore) Oliveto, Katrina Grimshaw, Nicole (Andrew) Nault, Michelle and Jacqueline Bielak, great-great nieces Katherine and Julia Labick, MaryRosina Oliveto and great-great nephews Christian Grimshaw and Marco Luis Oliveto. Mary also leaves behind a special, loving friend Maria who was like a daughter to her. She was predeceased by her three sisters, Anna Guthrie, Rose Bielak and Katherine D’Angelo and two brothers, John Datchak and George Diachick. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday July 6th from 4-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church on Saturday July 7th at 10am. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
