Mark Edward Strobel, 68, a longtime Yonkers resident, died on Thursday February 15, 2024, in Yonkers, NY.
Mark was born on April 16, 1955, to Edward and Mary Zebro Strobel in Yonkers. He graduated from Saunders Trade and Technical High School specializing in Auto Mechanics. Mark was a long-time member of Teamsters Local 456 and loved his job as a Tractor-Trailer and Construction Truck Operator. He was especially proud of his participation on the Ridge Hill and the Yonkers waterfront developments. Mark often rescued stray cats from work sites.
Mark is survived by his brother Paul Strobel and his wife Michele of Westford, MA. He is also survived by his nephew Christian Strobel of Nashua, N.H. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday 4-7pm. A memorial service will take place in the funeral home on Monday February 26th at 10am. Interment will follow in the Ferncliff Cemetery Cremation Garden in Hartsdale.
