Louis Richard Carozza, died October 19, 2013, at the VA Hospital in the Bronx, N.Y. He was born on January 30, 1931, to Alphonse and Philomena (Sorge) Carozza. On September 1, 1957 he married Sally Locatelli who died in 2000. Louis is survived by his 2 children David (Mary Lynn) and Chris (Di). He is also survived by his brothers and sister Armondo, Ed and Caroline, he was predeceased by his 4 brothers and 3 sisters Richard, Alphonse, Frank, John, Mary, Anna and Florence. Visiting hours will be will be in the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Church (110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers, NY 10703) on Wednesday October 23rd at 11am. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum (280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, NY). In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
