I have only know Kristen for a short time in our shared office space. But in the short time I knew her, she made such an impact on me and those around her. I knew her to be such a warm, unforgettable person, full of life and energy. I admired her strength and passion. She worked hard and cared deeply for her family, especially her children. She will be missed immensely. My heartfelt condolences to her children, family and friends. Praying for your peace and comfort. Kristen  was such a bright light, and her influence will continue to live in those who have known her. May she rest in heavenly peace.

When thinking of sweet Kristen, all I can see is a beautiful and powerful bright light. She was truly extraordinary and yet so down to earth. That’s why it’s so difficult to wrap my head around her passing - she  was so full of life and full of love. 

Kristen was my angel on Earth and I often told her that. She helped me get my position at my current school and I’ll never forget her kindness and humility. 

My heart goes out to her children and all of those who were touched by Kristen’s essence. I will never forget you, sweet Kristen. Your spirit will live on in our hearts.

Kristen was a wonderful, caring person and a speech supervisor who treated all of her therapists with dignity and respect. She always went out of her way to support them and help them to grow as individuals. With her infectious smile and good nature, everyone wanted to be in her presence She was well  loved and will be remembered forever. May her memory be a blessing and may she rest in peace

Kristen will be greatly missed by me and all of the students and fellow clinical supervisors at Mercy College/University who had the good fortune to know her. 
She was the very first clinical educator that I met during my tour of the dept and greeted me with a hug that time and every time that I saw her. She always had a positive word and a smile to lift up our spirits, and was quick to help where and when she could.

Kristen was my very first clinical supervisor at Mercy. I will never forget when she met me for the first time. She came up and hugged me and said she was so excited to mentor me. She always was positive, energetic, and instilled confidence in me like no other. On my very last day, she told me: “You will be an amazing therapist, just don’t forget who first shaped you to be the therapist you are.” Kristen I will never forget you and I pray that you are at peace.

Kristen was my best friend for about 25 years. We were called, “The Golden Girls”just like the tv show. We worked at the same school before she became a speech supervisor. We still kept in touch and built a strong relationship. We had so many laughs and cries but best of all we had so many great memories. I am truly grateful to have been one of your Bestie. You had a heart of gold. You were beautiful, smart, ambitious, kind, sociable, and funny. She was also a matchmaker. I am truly going to miss you dearly, especially your text messages. Just want you to know that you will forever be in my heart. Thank you for being an amazing friend. Gone too soon - Until we meet again. 

May God give the family and her two children, Lola and Michael the strength that they need to navigate through this loss.

This was the amazing speech team where Kristen started working before she became the speech supervisor.

We would get together and chat for hours until they kicked us out of the restaurant.

I had known Kristen for 15 years. She was my supervisor for several years and she was always so down to earth and encouraging. She pushed me to do more with my career as an SLP, and I’ll always be grateful for that. It’s rare to come across someone who is powerful, smart, approachable, and humane all wrapped into one. She  was always so pleasant and funny, even when she wasn’t “feeling it”, but was also willing to show you all sides of her when appropriate. I will miss her and her charm. Kristen and I went to high school together but it wasn’t until our days at Hudson Valley Bank
that I truly got to know her. She made me laugh every day and she’s responsible for my marriage. She insisted I go to the prom with my husband way back when.  Years later we found out we were pregnant at the same time with Melissa and we laughed some more. Kristen, you were a beautiful person and the memories I have still make me laugh. Kristen was a very special lady who will always be remembered for her warmth and kindness. I was one of her mentors when she first became a supervisor and we shared so many conversations about both professional and personal experiences. She loved to laugh and her laughter was contagious. She was beautiful inside and out and will be deeply missed.
