Hanna Fayez Marji

"To live in the hearts you leave behind is not to die." Hanna Marji remains in the hearts and minds of 10 children, 39 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters. At the age of 86, Hanna Marji, joined his beloved wife, Salma and son, Ibrahim, in the Kingdom of heaven. He was a true servant of God and devoted his life to family. Always smiling, nothing made him happier than seeing his children become parents and grandparents. He thrived on a house full of energy and was constantly surrounded by the love of his family. He was a man who inspired respect and admiration within the community. He could reliably be found in the second pew of Church every Sunday or welcoming guests into his home for tea and coffee. His pride in family always pushed us to be our best and words cannot express the loss we feel. It will be difficult to walk into his home and feel his absence because it was his presence that brought us life. A man only truly dies when the last person speaks his name and, as a family, we will ensure that his legacy lives on forever.

A visitation for Hanna will be held Monday, January 28, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Christ The Savior Church, 491 Palisade Ave, Yonkers, NY 10703. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christ the Savior Church, 491 Palisade Ave, Yonkers, NY 10703. An interment will occur Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mount Hope Cemetery, Jackson Ave & Saw Mill River Rd., Hastings- On- Hudson, NY 10706.
