Geraldine (Fox) Keller

Geraldine’s children, grandchildren, and close family and friends were all by her side throughout her final days.

Geraldine is survived by her daughters, Joanne and Carol; her sons-in-law, Bill, Steve, and Peter; her grandchildren, Lauren, Emily, Allison, Maggie, Petie and Christopher; grandsons-in-law, Jack and Andrew; and her great-grandchildren, Teddy and August.

She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Aggie, Billy, Sharon, and Kenny.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her daughter, Colleen; her parents, Edward and Agnes (Fox); her sisters, Virginia, Patsy, and Jackie; her brothers, Edward, Hugh, and John.

Geraldine was a pillar of strength to all who knew her. Beyond her own family, Geraldine helped countless others over the course of her lifetime. As a nurse for over 40 years at Sans Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Geraldine helped patients and their loved ones navigate difficult chapters with kindness and unwavering support. She is remembered fondly for her compassion, sincerity, and wisdom by those who knew her for a lifetime and those for just a moment.

Geraldine was a resident of Yonkers and a devoted communicant of Sacred Heart Church for almost 70 years.

A Gathering and Celebration of Life will take place at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday, August 24th from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Friday, August 25th at 10am.
