Daniel T. Sabol

Dan was born on April 27, 1948 to Agnes Ormond Sabol and Daniel D. Sabol, both of Yonkers, NY. He was born, raised and went to school in Yonkers, NY where he was a lifelong resident. He had a career that he loved with the Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation in Ardsley, NY retiring eight years ago as a Park Superintendent. In addition he was a long time employee of Whalen and Ball Funeral Home. He is survived by his son Daniel (wife Amy), his daughter Lisa Cruz-Sabol, and grandchildren Kate, Elizabeth, Aaron, Max and Sam. He is survived by his three brothers, Richard (wife Janice), Raymond (wife Susan), Robert (wife Barbara) and sister Nancy Cummings and preceded by his brother in law Daniel Cummings. He is also survived by his Nephews and Nieces, Tommy, Erika, Bobby (and his wife Jeny), Brian, Jessica and Nikki and numerous cousins and friends. Dan will be missed by many as he made a big impact on everybody’s life with his strong belief in hard work and compassion for others. A memorial mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Saturday February 10th at 9:30am.
