

Caroline T. Pisano “Butzie” nee (Segschneider) of Yonkers died on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at age 92. Born on October 15, 1922 to Rudolph and Carlene (Kohler) Segschneider) in Newark, N.J. She graduated from Commerce High School. Mrs. Pisano worked in the Copy Dept. of Gestetner Corp. operating a duplicating machine. On November 14, 1948 she married George Pisano in St. John the Baptist, he died in 1995. Caroline was a member of the Homefield Association, Homefield Bowling League (22 Bells) and the Ernest Pasqua 1506 Aux. Post. She also was a former member of the Girl Scouts and Local P.T.A. Committee. She is survived by her four children; Dawn (Louis) Renzi; William (Donna) (Ret. Navy and Capt. Y.F.D.); Pisano, Dale (Anthony- Ret. Y.F.D. Commissioner) Pagano and Kenneth (Christine) Pisano. Also survived by her seven grandchildren Dean Renzi (Detective –Y.P.D.) Eric and Tara Renzi and Lauren, Brett, Jacqueline, Kenneth Pisano and four great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth and Jack Travis and her brother Gustave and (Lorraine) Segschneider. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday, December 26th from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial in St. Anthony’s Church on Saturday, December 27th at 10:15 a.m. Committal service will be at Ferncliff Chapel. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Caroline’s name.
