Carol E. Holze

Carol E. HOLZE, age 80, of Bridgewater, N.J. (previously of New Rochelle and Yonkers, NY) passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born September 2, 1941. Carol was predeceased by her husband Paul W. Holze Sr. in 2015. She is survived by her children: Deborah,Paul (Kathleen), Kevin (Lisa), and david (Carista). She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren: Robbie, Paul, Sean, Patrick, Adam, Lauren, Ryan, Michael and David. Her siblings: Ruth Popham-Klinger, Richard (Lynda) Hilser and Nancy O'Connor. She was the daughter of the late Edwin and Eleanor (nee Shauer) Hilser. Carol was one of 14 children. She was also predeceased by her siblings: Edwin Hilser, Eleanor Sue Perri, Eugenia Jean Strahle, June Gill, Vincent Hilser, Claire McNamara, Peter Hilser, Eugene Skip Hilser, Katherine Nuzzaro and Charlotte O'Neill. She was born in New Rochelle, NY, and lived most of her life in Yonkers before moving to Bridgewater, 19 years ago.

Carol was a homemaker. She was a devoted mother and grandma, who loved her family and friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Rosary Alter Society of Christ the King Parish in New York & St. Bernard's parish in NJ. She was a long time volunteer of Christ the King CYO running the kitchen on game days.

A visitation for Carol will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10703. A mass of christian burial will occur Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Christ The King RC Church, 740 N. Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10701. Interment Oakland Cemetery.
