Anthony Tony Pici Sr.

Anthony “Tony” Pici Sr. of Yonkers died on Monday, April 25, 2011 at age 83. Born on March 27, 1928 to Marco and Mary (Liguori) Pici in Yonkers where he was raised and graduated from Saunders High School. Mr. Pici was an Operating Engineer with Local # 137 for over forty years; retiring in 1990. He was a Parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and a Korean War Veteran. On November 23, 1988 he married Sandra Tenzer in White Plains, she survives living in Yonkers. Besides his wife Sandra, he is survived by his three children; Dr. Michele Pici and her Partner Gina D’Ottavio of Worcester Mass, Anthony (Ana) Pici Jr. of Yorktown Heights and Dana Pici of Worcester, Mass. He is also survived by three grandchildren; Emma, Bella and Adriana; his brother Dr. Ralph Pici of West Harrison and his sister Emily Carozza of Yonkers. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church on Friday, April 29th at 9:30 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
