
Anthony A. Kleinlercher, a longtime Yonkers resident, died on Thursday, July 6, 2017. He was 85 years old. He was born on February 11, 1932 to Anton and Maria Vrenjak Kleinlercher in Brooklyn, N.Y. Mr. Kleinlercher was a Letter Carrier at the Tuckahoe Branch of the Yonkers Post Office for many years. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean war. He was a Parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church (Nepera Park) and enjoyed country western classic music and was a fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers. On April 14, 1956, he married his loving wife Margaret Chiaro in St. Anthony’s Church (Willow St.). Mrs. Kleinlercher survives and lives in Yonkers. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Anthony J. Kleinlercher of Carmel, N.Y. and Michael Kleinlercher and his wife Diane of Hartsdale. He is also survived by three grandsons, Anthony T., Michael B. and Francesco J. Kleinlercher. He was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher P. Kleinlercher. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday, 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony’s Church on Monday, July 10th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
