

Anna Kozicky (nee Zaulychna) of Yonkers, NY passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016. She was 89 years old. “Hanusia” was born on May 7, 1926 in Novytsya, Ukraine. She married Walter Kozicky on May 27, 1945 in Germany and emigrated to the United States in 1948, living first in New York City, then the Bronx, before finally settling in Yonkers in 1959. She is survived by her husband, Walter, and three sons: Peter (Lilia), Orest (Maria) and Roman (Alesia), seven grandchildren: Lilia, Larissa (Yuriy) Prawak, Peter, Mark (Diana), Orysia, Roman and Michael; and four great grandchildren: Colin, Ela, Emilia and Lukas. She is also survived by a brother, Michael (Maria) Zaulychny and many nieces and nephews. Her love and joy of her life were always her husband and family. Viewing will be held on Wednesday March 30 from 2-4, and 7-9pm at Whalen and Ball Funeral Home. Parastas at 7:30pm. Funeral on Thursday March 31 at 10:00am at St Michaels Ukrainian Catholic Church, followed by internment at St Andrews Cemetery, South Bound Brook, New Jersey.
