Angela Alford Calhoun, 54, a longtime Yonkers resident, died on Tuesday May 15, 2018 at Montefiore Hospital.
She was born on December 25, 1963 to George and Dolores Epps Alford in Gainesville, Florida. She was raised and educated in Yonkers. Mrs. Calhoun was a telephone operator for the Doubletree Hotel in New York City for 31 years until 2013. She is survived by her mother, Dolores Alford of Yonkers and a sister, Donna Alford of the Bronx. She is also survived by her grandmother, Inez Epps and two aunts, Hazel Johnson and Ida Epps. She was predeceased by her son, Stephen Calhoun. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday May 25th from 4-8pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 7pm. Final disposition will be private.
