O’BRIEN, Alice C of Yonkers, NY passed away on August 23, 2018. Alice was a life-long resident of Yonkers, born there on September 18, 1930 to Katherine Jones and Patrick O’Brien. She was educated at Sacred Heart High School and later graduated from the Cochran School of Nursing. Alice went on to work at St John’s Riverside hospital as a nurse for a proud forty-two years. Many loving family members and friends, of whom she held most dear, survive her.
Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday Aug. 26, 2018 from 4-8 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial is to be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Yonkers on Monday Aug. 27, 2018 at 11 am.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Yonkers.
