Marion was born in Auburn ME on December 31, 1926. She attended Edward Little High School and was a member of the graduating glass of 1944, attending Class Reunions whenever they were held. Marion lived in Maine her entire life. She loved the outdoors and all its activities. She planned and led six trips down the Allagash.
