Freeport – Diane E. Dennison, 70, died on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at her home in Freeport from a massive heart attack. She was born on May 21, 1943 in Portland. She was a long time employee and retiree of LL Bean.
Diane enjoyed spending time in her garden planting flowers and pulling weeds. She also was a novice painter and painted beautiful scenes of the outdoors for her family. Diane loved to read and would spend all hours of the evening reading Amish books by the hundreds. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting afghans, scarves and trinkets for her family and friends, always sewing a butterfly on her projects as her signature.
A favorite prayer of her’s and her mother is Psalm 23:1-6 “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside still waters.”
Diane is survived by her husband of 16 years, Wayne Dennison; her daughters: Corinna Libby and Debra Dennison and her fiancé Larry Sawyer; her son, Daniel Dennison and his wife Christine; her brother Robinson Delan; her grandsons: Ian Libby and Maxime Dennison; and her granddaughter Cheyenne Dennison.
