Scott Charles Woodworth was born in Yakima, WA on 7/21/68 and tragically lost his life there in an auto accident on 9/9/23. Scott was smart, truly talented, and excelled in all he did. He graduated from Eisenhower High School and Trend Business College. He was a semi-pro BMX racer, loved to sing karaoke to 80’s rock, snowboard, travel, camp and boat with his family and friends, and enjoyed everything related to CARS, CARS, CARS! He especially valued his ’63 Buick Riviera that was passed down from his grandpa Jess. He had a very special relationship with his grandparents, Jess and Helen; having this car kept their memories close.
Scott was well liked and respected by those who knew him. He was active, fun-loving, charismatic, generous with his time and talents, and had an exuberant love for his wife and children.
Scott is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Meshelle (Reynolds), his beautiful daughter Morgan (25), and his precious son Blake (20). He is also survived by his parents, Jess and Carole Woodworth, sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Rich Wells, and his nephews Ryan (Caroline), and Kyle (Maggie). He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Edna Downs and Jess and Helen Woodworth.
His memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on October 14th at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home, located at 1010 W Yakima Ave., followed by a Celebration of Life at The 26-A Club, located at 32 N 2nd St (next to Second Street Grill).
The family would like to thank all who have shared their love and support. In lieu of flowers and other items, if you would like, please donate to our Go Fund Me account to help us make his Celebration of Life “nothin’ but a good time!” (https://gofund.me/e5cb63e4)
Scott was well loved and will be very missed, but never forgotten. Rest well Scott!
