Robert W. Theobald, age 65, was a loving father, grandfather, friend and partner. He passed away on Thursday September 13, 2012 after a long battle with heart conditions.
Robert was born and educated in Yakima Washington. He served in Vietnam while in the Marine Corps. After his service years he returned to the Yakima Valley where he chose to spend the remainder of his life. He enjoyed camping, fishing, family and most of all never growing up. Robert was most happy when he was helping others including being active in the local VFW and playing Santa for local children.
He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Lee Theobald and Martha Wedel. He is survived by a wonderful step-father, Wesley Wedel as well as his loving partner, Ginger Knoblaugh. Additionally he is survived by his two daughters, Robin Nielsen and Christina Adams as well as many step-children and grandchildren, two sisters, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted Friday September 21, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the Langevin-Mussetter Garden Chapel. After the memorial services friends and family will gather for a reception in the Yakima Fraternal Order of Eagles.
