Rickey was born to "Wanda" Wana Mae Leslie Kezele and Frank Kezele in Yakima, Washington on June 30, 1951. On Tuesday, May 3, Rickey suddenly became ill and was rushed to Saint Joseph Hospital in Lewiston, Idaho. His body was in shock from toxic infection... He fought disparately to live ; finally losing his courageous battle on Thursday May 5, 2016.
At the time of his death , Rickey was very happily married to his loving wife, Jenny (Snider) Kezele. They have been together for 6 years and were nearing their 2nd wedding anniversary on May 22, 2016.
He was a retired Irrigation worker with a great passion for life. This passion included his wife, children, grandchildren, other family members (too many to mention) and a great number of friends (also to many to mention.) Simple things in life brought him great joy which include thunder storms, birds, and nature. Rickey’s hobbies were "JOKING", fishing, camping, playing the guitar, antiquing and visiting family and friends which made him by far the happiest. Family and friends were his life.
Rickey lived his life with a giving heart full of spirit. His tenderness and spunk stood out in a crowd. He wore his emotions on his sleeve. Rickey was very proud of his Native American heritage with the Chickasaw Tribe thru the line of his great grandmother Nannie Wade. He had a great interest in his "roots". The nickname "wrong way Rick", was given to him but he always had it right, we just did not realize it. Rickey attended Naches Valley School District until 1969 and was one of the "Gleed Boys" .
Early in life Rickey was married to Reanna Norvell and in 1974 their son Ryan Kezele was born. During his walk in life he had another son Cary Kezele.
Rickey lived his life always riding against the wind but never let his big heart of gold give up. At the end of his journey Rickey met Jesus and crossed over to the other side where he is with the Lord and his family.
Rickey is survived by his wife Jenny Kezele, his son Ryan Kezele , daughter in law Julie Kezele , his son Cary Kezele ; his granddaughters Hailey Kezele , Abigail Kezele and step-daughter Riley Snider.
