Becky was born in Yakima, Washington on May 1, 1961 to Larry and Marlene (Morrison) St. Martin. She attended school at Naches Valley School District and enjoyed helping out her mom with her younger siblings. She enjoyed needlepoint, knitting and crocheting, but always just for her personal enjoyment. She once said being the third born with two older brothers and five younger ones that she was always hoping for a sister. She finally got that sister about 15 years later and enjoyed playing dolls, games and coloring. Later she would enjoy helping raise her niece, Nicole St. Martin.
Becky never married and never left Yakima County. She worked at 901 Pasta for many years and then as a housekeeper at Crescent Convalescent. She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2012. For years she was able to maintain a relatively healthy life living with her sister and her family.
Becky loved to go on road trips and hike, but the last few years she spent keeping herself busy with knitting and sewing. She also enjoyed reading mystery novels and watching movies with her family. She always had a great sense of humor.
Becky will be missed very much and her life will live on in the memories of those that loved her. Upon her request, there will be no services.
Becky is survived by her Mother, Marlene, of Yakima, and her siblings, Michael, Anthony, both of Colorado and Patrick, Kenneth, David, Daniel, Philip and Peggy (Diaz), all of Yakima. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry of Yakima.
Langevin Funeral Home in Yakima is in charge of arrangements. Special thanks to Norma Botello, a family friend, for helping out and being emotional support.
