Rebecca Ann Palesch, 66, longtime resident of Yakima, WA, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, in Yakima, WA. Rebecca, who was born in San Bernardino, CA, was number seven of twelve children, six girls and six boys. Rebecca was one of those special people who defied a single adjective description. One person who knew her well may have said it best, “I can describe it, but you knew it when you met her, that she was special.” Her greatest source of pride was her daughter Michele, and watching her grow and seeing her graduate from law school. That source of pride was only equaled by the births of her two grandsons, Jensen and Henry. Becky spent most of her waking hours assisting her husband, Dr. Raymond Palesch, manage their orthopedic practice. They were truly a team. They retired in 2016 and took great pleasure in those grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Raymond, daughter Michele Rasmussen Muller and her ten siblings. She was predeceased by her older brother Chuck. She always did the right thing when no one was looking and thus a light went out in the universe but the brightness remains. A private celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017. To share a memory of Rebecca visit, www.lepfuneralhome.com.
