Marylynn Florence Cyr

She was raised in Yakima and graduated from St. Joseph Academy where she and her twin were Salutatorian and Valedictorian.

In 1952, she married her childhood sweetheart Donald Cyr and together they had five children. When the kids were sufficiently independent, she went to YVCC and earned her RN. She worked as an Registered Nurse until she was 70.

Marylynn was preceded in death by her husband Don, twin sister Marybell Benoit, daughters Suzanne Fluegge and Annette Cyr, and grandson Brian Fluegge. She is survived by daughters Theresa (John) Blake and Mary Wyatt, son Thomas (Diana) Cyr, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Mom will be remembered for her beautiful quilts and cross-stitch masterpieces.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at St. Paul Cathedral. Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.keithandkeith.com.
