Marjorie Josephine Young

Marge passed away peacefully October 5, 2012 at the age of 84 after a short illness.

Marge grew up in Vancouver and moved to Washington in 1958.

She received degrees in Finance from the UW and University of Puget Sound

and had worked as an accountant at Puget Power until she retired to Shelton in 1995.

Marge and her husband Bruce have been living in Yakima for the past 5 years.

Marge had a love for playing cards and also greatly enjoyed reading, swimming,

and traveling the U.S. with her husband.

Marge is survived by her husband, Bruce, her 3 daughters, Linda Whitehead,

Judy Penwell, Marilyn Aarnio and her 6 grandchildren, Rachel, Brad, David, Cheryl,

Samantha and Gracie. She was such a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

She will be greatly missed and will always be remembered.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 Thursday October 11th,

2012 at First Presbyterian Church, 9 South 8th Avenue in Yakima.
