Marilyn grew up in Naches, graduating from Naches High School. She went to St. Elizabeth’s Nursing School in Yakima for three years, while Dad was serving in the U.S. Navy. She graduated with an RN degree. She worked as an office nurse for 41 years before retiring.
Marilyn married the love of her life Richard M. Clark on May 15, 1954. Together they built a home in Naches and raised their two children, who could not have asked for two more loving parents. Marilyn was a member of the Naches Presbyterian Church for many years. She was a Deacon of the church and also the church librarian.
As a family much time was spent with mom and dads dear friends, Jan & Del Towell and Jerry & Maxine Clark. Mom also had a very special friend, Arlene Kropf. They called themselves “Sisters of the Heart”.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. Clark and her brother Howard Hager who lived in Texas. Marilyn is survived by her two children, son Michael Clark: Grandchildren, Stephen Clark and Caitlyn Pietsch (Trevor), great grandchildren, Oliver & Roman; daughter Barbara Regimbal (Bob): grandchildren, Tanya Carney (Paul) and great grandchildren, Brycen and Lauren, grandson, Kyle Schmits, grandson, Michael Schmits (Trinity) and great grandchildren, Chloe, Elena and Ethan.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Peace of Christ Church of Naches, 201 E. 2nd St. Naches, WA . Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.keithandkeith.com.
Marilyn requested that donations be made to Peace of Christ Church in Naches (formerly Presbyterian)
