Margaret Evelyn (Hysler) Wilson, 95, of Yakima, WA, passed away on October 1, 2024, surrounded by her son Craig and his husband, Tom Trepanier. She was born on November 14, 1928, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
A private service will be held on October 21, 2024 at Mountain View Cemetery, Auburn, WA., where she will be interred beside her husband, Ted Wilson.
Margaret had a long and fulfilling career as a registered nurse supervisor at Auburn Regional Medical Center in Auburn, WA, where she worked as an evening shift nursing supervisor, touching the lives of patients, family members, staff and physicians.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Wilson, in 1989; three sisters, Arlene Tiffin, Ann Stultz, and Shirley Dirksen, as well as two half-brothers, Bill Hysler and Craig Hysler.
Margaret is survived by her two sons: Ken Wilson of Yucca Valley, CA, Craig Wilson and his husband Tom Trepanier of Yakima, WA and a half-brother Ray Hysler or York, Maine.
She also leaves behind two granddaughters, Jennifer Wilson and her partner Nick Lyons, Jana Bodero and her husband Louis, both living in Astoria, NY. Three grandsons Michael Wilson and his wife Ashley Mason in Knoxville, TN; Ryan Wilson and his wife Erin Wilson in Auburn, WA; and Scott Wilson and his wife Kim Wilson in Ventura, CA. Margaret is also survived by three great-grandchildren: Bradley Wilson, Cassie Wilson, and Diego Wilson.
Margaret will be remembered for her inner strength, professionalism, commitment to excellence and her love for her family.
