Lynn was born to Herman “Piet” Kreulen and Margaret Mary Kelly on October 23, 1947 in Mobile, AL.
Lynn lived a vibrant and joy filled life. After high school at St. Marie’s in Little Rock, AR she entered the convent where she spent two years. After leaving the convent, she married Jeff Jackman and began teaching at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School in Benton, AR. A few years later, Jeff and Lynn moved to the Aleutian Islands in Alaska where she continued teaching.
Lynn found her true calling later in life as a hospice nurse touching countless lives. She was known for her kindness, compassion and infectious smile.
Lynn loved to travel, golf, and garden, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Lynn is survived by her brothers Pat Kreulen, and Jerry Jo Harrison; daughter Kelly (Randy) Stadler and their children Sydney and Nick; son Ben (Shannon) Jackman and their children Elijah and Tiegan; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Herman “Piet” and Margaret Kreulen; brothers Piet and Mike Kreulen, Frank “Buddy” Harrison; sister Roslyn Jucas; and dear friend and partner Angie McKinnon.
There will be a celebration of Lynn’s life on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 pm at St. Elizabeth’s Auditorium, 110 S. 9th Avenue, Yakima, WA 98902.
