Louise Marie Fix was born August 23, 1946 and was the youngest daughter of 9 children born into the Yakima-based Fix family. Louise was affectionately known as “Weezie” or “Aunt Weezie” to her close family and friends.
Louise was dedicated to her 3 children Craig Chissus, Lori Chissus, & Erika Larson. Her grandchildren Austin Chissus, Mikala Condon, & Brad Wise are grateful to have been loved for so many years by their grandmother. Louise also had nieces, nephews, and friends who considered her like a mother or grandmother figure in their lives.
In the past 30 years, Louise was employed at Consolidated Freightways and more recently Mr. Van Gard Self-Storage (Storage Court). She took great pride in her work and many of her coworkers loved her like family. Everyone will always remember the pool parties Louise threw; they were the highlight of the summer and everyone was always invited. She graciously opened her home to her family and friends. There was always enough food at the table and she always had time to talk if someone needed advice or comfort.
Louise Fix passed in her home on January 20, 2016 after more than a 2 year battle with cancer.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, March 26th at 10:00am at Keith and Keith Funeral home in Yakima.
There will be a reception to follow at her home in Cowiche.
Her family asks that rather than donations or flowers, please share your memories and photos on her guest page: www.keithandkeith.com
