John was born October 12, 1944 in Port Angeles, WA
John served in the Navy before meeting the love of his life Joan in 1968. John was a welder in the Navy and worked in the Navy shipyard as a welder.
John and Joan moved to Moxee in 1977 with their three children: Rhonda, Laurinda and Mitchel.
John was a welding teacher at YVCC for 14 years before opening a welding business in Toppenish, WA.
In 1997 John worked for security at the Yakima Airport, Memorial Hospital and Perry Tech.
John is survived by his 3 children: Rhonda (Darron), Laurinda (Chris), Mitchel (Kim), 6 grandchildren: Mykel, Amanda, Brian (Jenna), Jennifer, Calder, Foster and 6 great grandchildren: Damian, Kathleen, Miles, Kylie, Birdie and Archer.
