John Faith, 99, passed away on Tuesday December 1, 2015 in Selah. He was born in Strasburg, North Dakota on October 18, 1916 to Christian and Regina (Hershauf) Faith and was raised and educated in Strasburg. He served in the Civil Conservation Corp for six months on 1934. John married Anna Marie Getz on October 18, 1939 and together they farmed in the Strasburg area until they relocated to Yakima in 1965. In Yakima, he worked for Snokist for 18 years until his retirement on 1980. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his favorite of all, playing pinochle almost every Saturday night.
John is survived by his daughter, Caroline (Mike) Wood of Yakima and his son, Wayne Faith of Yakima; granddaughter Michelle and great-granddaughter, Amanda, both of Lynwood.
