Jeffrey T. Willhight, 66, of Selah, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, November 30. He was a devoted husband, dad, grandpa, uncle, brother, and friend to many. He was born in Redmond, WA, on December 3, 1955, to Donald and Julaine Willhight. He graduated from Redmond High School and served in the Army and Army National Guard. He married Sandy on May 19, 1984.
He is survived by his wife (37 years), his children- Ron (Lisa) Hoxie of Spokane, John (Sarah) Hoxie of Beavercreek, OR, Denita (Pat) Cole of Richland, Tom Hoxie of Yakima, and Jeffrey (Rebecca) Willhight of Pasco; 13 grandchildren; his sister- Diana Peters of Oak Harbor, His brother- Gary (Colleen) of Everett, and his sister- Kim Wilcox of Yakima and his loving nieces and nephews and of course his "grand-dogs. Jeff is preceded in death by his parents- Don and Julaine Willhight; his brothers, Don Jr. and Bryan; his sister-Jan Mueller, Mileen Hoxie (Tom's wife); Ken Wilcox (Kim's husband); his granddaughter- Judith Ann Cole; Billy Jean Newhall (unofficially adopted daughter) and his best friend, Neal Beaman. He is remembered as being dedicated to his family, fun-loving, very knowledgeable, helpful, giving of himself, adventurous, and as being a smart ass.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Keith & Keith Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be held at Keith & Keith Funeral Home on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Fond memories and expressions sympathy may be shared at www.keithandkeith.com.
