Glen Wayne Johnson passed on August 23, 2022. Born to Norma Jean Frazier-Johnson (deceased 1999), and Gerald Thomas Johnson on December12,1962 in Yakima, WA. Glen would have been 60 years old in December but his life was cut short due to an aggressive and devastating cancer. His sudden passing was a shock to all his family and friends. Glen’s kindness is what people will remember most about him. He always wanted to be supportive and present for others when times were tough. We especially remember his love for our mother during her unsuccessful battle with cancer in 1999. Glen stepped up and supported his mother financially and emotionally. He was also there for his father when he was diagnosed with cancer last summer. He was always supportive of his sister Stella, and always had his sister Becky in his heart. Glen loved all things related to historical literature. He loved to give heartfelt gifts of old magazine articles, old coins, etc. This was his way of sharing his hobbies, and love to those he thought about most. Life gets busy, but Glen’s weekly phone calls to family could always be counted on. Simply put, Glen had a presence that made others laugh, and take notice of his kindness and thoughts. This unique combination was “GENUINELY” Glen. He will be greatly missed in our lives.
Glen is survived by his father Gerald Thomas Johnson and sister Becky Morrison of Yakima, his sister Stella Williams of Puyallup, and nephew Zachary Strickland of Seattle. Our family is grateful for the blessing of God’s grace and mercy on Glen, allowing him to endure minimal pain and suffering before taking him. “You will be missed beloved brother, son, uncle, cousin and friend”. “Give mama a big hug from us all when you see her”.
