
George was born on December 28, 1922 in Wenatchee, WA but was raised in the Yakima area graduating from Wapato High School in 1942. George was proud to serve in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a kind soul always willing to help anyone in need and loved working with his hands. George was a custodian for the Yakima School District for 12 years and was an avid fan of the Seattle Mariners.
George is survived by his daughter, Sharon and her husband, Ron Moore of Outlook; a brother, John Tupling of Yakima and a sister, Wilma Crabb of Yakima along with 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Olivia Tupling; son, Tommy Schick, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Keith & Keith Funeral Home, 902 W. Yakima Ave., Yakima, WA. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 pm.
