Dee Dee was born in Yakima, WA on September 3, 1960 to J.D. and Juanita Louise (Wadsack) Dotson. She attended grade and middle school in Ellensburg, WA and later attended Highland High School in Cowiche, WA. After graduating, she married her high school sweetheart, Joe Nels Trepanier, on December 6, 1980.
After fourteen years, Dee Dee retired from Ace Hardware Distribution Center as Customer Service Manager in order to spend more time with her two sons at home while also bookkeeping for the family business, Trepanier Excavating, Inc. She was involved with numerous community activities such as the Tieton Rebecka Lodge, 4-H, and the Highland School District, where she served as a member of the school board, a sports team and band mom, and head cheer coach. Throughout the years, she devoted countless hours, support, and love toward the students and community of Cowiche and Tieton.
Her happiest memories include family vacations, barn parties, and boating trips to Rimrock Lake with her beloved husband, sons, and close family friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her dearest friend Janet Hart, as well as her close friends Linda LaPierre, Kathleen Omlin, and Michelle Martin. Being an avid animal lover, Dee Dee was constantly surrounded by many pets throughout her life. She spent a majority of her youth with horses and was always surrounded by cats and dogs, which she loved dearly.
She is survived by her husband Joe and sons Tyler and Trey; father J.D. Dotson; brother Dan Dotson; sister-in-law Yury Dotson; niece Abigail Dotson; brother-in-law Tom Trepanier; aunt Rita Graham; uncle Gary Graham; and several cousins.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. De Marco, Dr. Goulart, Dr. Menon, and Dr. Mulligan for their tireless efforts throughout Dee Dee’s endeavors.
