Carol received her Bachelor's Degree and Teaching Certification from Central Washington University and earned a Master's Degree from Heritage College. Her educational career spanned more than 30 years, with the majority spent teaching 3rd and 4th grade in West Valley.
Throughout her retirement, Carol loved traveling the world with Ken. Together they visited countries across many continents including China, Israel, Austria, Panama and more. In addition to her travels, she volunteered her time at the Cancer Society Discovery Shop and spent many hours searching for deals at Macy's.
Carol is preceded in death by her mother Emily and her father Walter.
The memorial service for Carol will be held Friday, November 15th at Wesley United Methodist Church in Yakima at 2:00pm.
