Carl Houston Harvey

March 14, 1930 – October 6, 2023

Born to Oscar & Hazel Harvey in Broken Bow Oklahoma

Carl was a man of many trades in his life. He moved to Yakima, WA in the late 60s with his wife Ann & children, where he worked for Boise Cascades. He began working in the orchards as a forman for Gilbert & Pyramid Orchards, where he eventually retired from.

If you gave him your time & an ear to listen, he had quite a few good stories to tell!

Carl had 5 children; Cherie Huffines (Morgan), Angie Tabares (Steve), Bobby Harvey (Michelle), Tammy Harvey, Larry Harvey. He had four step-children; Dorothy Morrison, Rita Bassman (Rob), Marty Kluesner, Jim Kluesner (Sharon). As well as numerous grandchildren & an abundance of great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Ann Harvey, second wife Aloha (Jean) Harvey. Daughter Angie Tabares, son-in-law Wayland Huffines, and numerous other family members.

Thank you to all of the staff at Cascade of Chesterly and the Hospice staff for the wonderful care they provided to Carl in his final days.
