Condolences from My mom, Janice (Loux) Stonaker.  She and Bill were 2 months apart in age, and lived next to each other until the age of 5.  They stayed close and spoke often via phone through their adult years, including up to just a week or so before Bill's passing.  87 years of wonderful friendship!!

I have fond memories of Saturday mornings at Bill’s house for pancakes with the Greek Cru men’s fellowship. Bill continued to be a spiritual and life mentor for me during the transition from college to the real world and I will always cherish our time together. Love and miss you Bill!

Bill Donaldson, fine man.  I will miss our conversations and visiting with him.   He offered sage advice when asked and enjoyed personable conversations.  He would ask me, "How are you?", pause and wait for an answer.  His life experiences are many, varied, and showed how inquisitive he was.  I enjoyed praying with him and recognized how much emulation that he made of Jesus Christ.  Rest easy my friend.  Thank you for sharing your faith with me and so many others.

Bill is a spiritual father and mentor of mine.  He took interest in me and poured his life into me as a young man coming into adulthood. He was the first true expression of the kindness of the Father that I’d experienced; fully accepting of me as I was and exhorting me to grow and be better still.  He had a way of seeing the best within you and calling it forward.  And he was there for me with Godly perspective and wisdom in some of the darkest moments of my young life. 
Bill you left an immeasurable impression on the lives of countless young men (such as myself).  We honor you and the life you lived. We grieve the loss of your warmth, wisdom, and friendship. And we rejoice at your home going to an eternity with your Heavenly Father and beloved Jesus who have received you with the fullness of their joy.  Rest in Glory my brother and friend.

Bill was a friend, a mentor, an older brother to me for nearly 40 years. He was like family to me. He was always positive, encouraging and uplifting. He was an advisor to me on major life issues and I could always trust his judgment on matters. When I proposed to my wife, Jana, at the beach by his house and he was the first to know she said yes. He came to my dad’s funeral and has traveled to visit and get to my kids. He had such a commitment to ministry and missions and was a leader and discipler of so many people. He gave so much of his time to the Lord and His service and kingdom. He lived a great christian life. There is no doubt that he was a fine example to all on how to live godly. I will miss him and know the world has lost a truly good man.

Too many memories to count. This loving man was part of my family, as I am sure he was family to countless others. High school classmates with my parents. Their best man, he knew my sister and I all our lives. 
An educator, true. And that played out in a larger manner in his subtle teaching of life and the Lord.
So glad to have had you in my life. Rest easy, my friend.
