Thomas Michael Webber passed away suddenly in the evening of Monday, June 17, 2024.Thomas was born October 6, 2000 at The Ohio State University Medical Center to, his loving parents, Michele Roche Webber (deceased) and his father Phillip Webber. He is survived by grandparents John Webber of Findlay, Ohio; and Kathleen Roche of Syracuse, New York; uncles Mark Webber, (Kimberly) of Hamilton, Ohio; Michael Roche (Lilly) of Newark, Ohio; Matthew Roche of Syracuse, New York; Katherine Roche of Columbus, Ohio and Mary Roche of Orlando, Florida. Thomas is preceded in death by his mother Michele, grandfather Michael Roche; grandmother Wilma Webber and Aunt Bridget Roche. He is survived by numerous cousins and good friends.
Thomas attended Helping Hands for his early school years and followed that by attending Gahanna Middle School East. He finished his education at Gahanna Lincoln High School where he began in 2015 and received his diploma and heard his last “Goals, buses, outta here!” in 2021. Some of his favorite activities in high school included: Halloween parties, Spread the Word, Science, going bowling, playing BINGO, field trips, working at the Mane Cup Coffee Shop, Prom and Book Club and assisting with the basketball and track teams. Thomas treasured his Goodwill and Kohl’s trips and would never turn down a new pair of shoes. New Balance were his favorites. Thomas took pride in any tee shirt but especially a new pocket tee. Thomas had many nicknames including “T”, T-Man, and Chef BoyarTee based on his passion for food and cooking. Following high school, Thomas attended Learning Never Ends Central location. He loved learning new things and participated in many activities including woodworking and sewing. His interests were endless and he always was the first to want to learn a new skill.
Thomas has touched the lives of many people over the years. Teachers, doctors, countless specialists, family members and too many to mention community members who have supported Thomas in his efforts and struggles since getting his own home. Thomas was a very sensitive and quiet young man who cared very much for his friends and family. Thomas was an animal lover and had a very special place in his heart for his beloved dog, Clifford and his cat, Gretchen. Thomas was protective of his many friends who were less capable than he and made sure to assist them whenever needed. He was a man who loved heavy work and did not shy away from it. Thomas’ gentle quiet nature will be missed by all who knew him. Continued good luck on your journey, Thomas. We love you and miss you so much.
A memorial service for Thomas will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, OH 43085.
