Suzanne “Suzy” (Senter) Melchiorre, 77, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2022. She was born December 21, 1944, in Ayer, Massachusetts on Fort Devens United States Army Reserve Base to the late Army Captain Edsel Ford and Betty Lou (Riggs) Senter.

She often reminisced about her days living in German Village, working as a bank teller, and getting into shenanigans with her close friends. After marrying and having two sons, she dedicated her life to child care and watching over the neighborhood children. She enjoyed spending time by the water with loved ones, whether it was Lake Erie at Marblehead or cruising down the Ohio River on a steamboat.
Suzy will be remembered for her love of music, art, caring for others, and her love for her family and friends.
Suzy is survived by her husband, Steve Melchiorre; sons Mathew Melchiorre, Michael (Sarah) Melchiorre; grandchildren Claire and Gianna; sisters Linda Senter, Cathy (Senter) Hradek, Nancy (Senter) Robertson, Stephanie Senter, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests funeral expenses support to honor Suzy. Donations can also be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and the American Brain Foundation. Further donations accepted on behalf of Suzy are Campbell's Chunky Soup or any canned food/non-perishable food items to be donated to the Mid Ohio Food Bank.
