Sarah became our first friend in Kennebunk when we rented the house next door to her 37 years ago. Sarah welcomed us and our many dogs over the years. Spending time with Sarah on her back porch drinking iced tea, spilling some tea and discussing current events were constants in our summer days. We kept in touch throughout the year. Sarah knew what was happening in our lives and we knew all about Sarah’s girl’s and grandchildren. 
Our lives have been enriched by knowing Sarah and she will always remain in our hearts.
We will continue to visit Sarah’s porch. Her spirit will always be there. 

What a childhood of July summers on Kennebunk Beach! We are all in our late Fifties now but that water air rocks are in our bones. I was running in and out of Sarah and Gordon’s side door through every July. And as an adult when visiting my folks or friends, as recent as 2017, I was always welcomed right back through that door with warm smiles, We had as much fun reminiscing on all the shenanigans. What a blessing all those times. All those memories. I am ever grateful! 

Sarah and I grew of together in the lovely town of Tacoma Park, MD.  As adults Bob and I  were were delighted that we could buy the little cottage in Maine next to there's where we enjoyed 45 summers together with her and Gordon by the seaside.  What a privilege!  Sarah was a lovely generous person and will be missed by countless family and friends.

We are so saddened by Sarah's passing.  She was such a delight to be with and we always enjoyed her company during our Maine visits,  Our thoughts and prayers area with the family.  We hope you can find some comfort in the many memories you have of this wonderful woman.
