Patricia Ann Morgan, 88, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on September 10, 2022. She was born on March 5, 1934 in Buffalo, New York to the late John and Helen (Schuck) Chapin. Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Sam Morgan and mother and father John and Helen Chapin. She is survived by her four loving children, Don (Susan) McMannus; Connie Pennington; Cheryl (Gary) Williams and Michael McMannus as well as five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Family was the most important thing to her. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She especially loved holidays, particularly Thanksgiving and Christmas surrounded by the entire family.
Patricia proudly served her country in the U.S. Air Force as a nurse in the Korean War. After dedicating her time to her family and children as a homemaker she found a passion for her career and volunteering in the community. She spent 38 years working at Riverside Methodist Hospital in the Chemistry lab and volunteered her time at the McConnell Heart Center. She was active as a Scout Leader for both her boys and girls, a member of the Eastern Star. She loved camping, traveling bowling and playing euchre with friends and family. She was a dedicated fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes enjoying football games as a Redcoat.
A visitation will be held on October 7, 2022 from 4-7pm at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N High St, Worthington, OH 43085. A funeral service and burial will follow at 10am on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Resurrection cemetery, 9571 High St, Lewis Center, OH 43035.
