MariaTeresa Rose

She was born on December 11, 1937 to Lluis and Mercè Viadé in Barcelona, Spain. Throughout her life she embraced every moment with grace, kindness, and unwavering strength. MariaTeresa was a beacon of light, touching the lives of everyone she encountered with warmth and love. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, MariaTeresa poured her heart into her family. Her love knew no bounds, and she was always there to offer guidance, support, and unconditional love. Her home was a sanctuary, filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories. MariaTeresa had a passion for cooking for her family, reading and listening to music. She grew up listening to the radio with her family and shared a life-long love for music with her brother. Whether it was cooking delicious meals and desserts for loved ones, she found joy in simple pleasures. Her creativity and zest for life were infectious, and she inspired others to find happiness every day.

MariaTeresa leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever be cherished. She was married to David R. Rose, who passed in April 2022. She will be deeply missed by her children David (Cindi) Rose, Kirk (Julia) Rose and Mercedes (Adriatik) Rose Jakupi; as well as by her 8 grandchildren who adored her, Josep Rose, James Rose, Justin Rose, Jack Rose, Judy Rose, Dominic Rose, Drin Jakupi, and Lenora Jakupi. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Disease Research or St. Jude Children’s Hospital in the name of MariaTeresa Rose. Family will receive friends Thursday June 22, 2023, from 9:30AM-10:00AM at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 6899 Smoky Row Rd, with a funeral Mass to follow at 10:00AM, with burial at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
