Lundy Wiliamson, 96, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 8, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born in Crum, WVA on March 22, 1928, to Henry and Lydia Williamson, and was one of 11 children. Lundy is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Betty Parsley Williamson, and survived by his four daughters: Sheri Holcomb (David), Myra Williamson, Tina Plzak (Tom) and Lunda Ramirez (Eric), seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. brother, John B, sister, Beulah, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lundy was a proud Army veteran having served in the Korean War. He was a lifelong fan of the Reds, OSU Buckeyes, and the Bengals. He was also a member of the New Albany football chain gang for 40 years, which led to his induction into the New Albany Athletic Hall of Fame.
Lundy was loved by many and will be missed by all especially his cat, Kitty.
