Lien Phung

Lien Phung, age 93, of Westerville, OH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. She will be remembered as a loving, compassionate, humorous, caring, tender-hearted wife, mom, grandma, and great grandma. Her passions in life included spending time with family, walking and shopping at the malls, sewing and crafting, watching TV dramas, and completing 1000-piece puzzles. Lien lived a full and beautiful life making many friends and unforgettable memories along the way.

She was preceded in death by her dear husband, Nguu Tam Lu, and is survived by her six lovely daughters, Muoi D. Lu (Hien Au), Thanh Lu (YF Cheung), Quan Lu (Hanh Ngo), Tu Lu (Tony Luong), Quyen Lu (Terence Chim) and Van Lu (Hung Ly); wonderful grandchildren, Winmay (Ming-Yao) Cheng, Liemin (Wilbur) Lin, Gargitt (Kally) Au, Zelam (Kimberly) Ngo, Peshan Ngo, Brian and Derrick Chim, Stephanie (Jason) Ro, Tiffany and Stephen Ly; great grandchildren Louis and Edwin Cheng, Evangeline, Corrin, and Winston Lin, and many other extended family and friends.

A celebration of her wonderful and happy life will begin with a visitation held on Sunday, March 10th from 2:00 – 5:00pm at Schoedinger Worthington. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 11th at 10:00am at Schoedinger Worthington, followed by a burial at Eastlawn Cemetery.
