Keith E. Jenkins

Keith Edward Jenkins, age 87, passed away peacefully under hospice care on November 7, 2024 after complications from acute kidney failure. Keith was son to the late James and Carrie (Ray) Leach in Jackson, Ohio. As a young boy, Keith loved singing in the choir and playing every type of sports. He attended West High School in Columbus, Ohio and because of his love for his country enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served his country from 1956-1959, even serving time in Korea. Keith met Betty, the love of his life, while stationed in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. They married in June, 1958 settling in Ohio. Keith and Betty were married for 64 amazing years until the passing of Betty in November, 2022.

Keith was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His passion and commitment to work hard and provide for his family was first and foremost. Keith retired from Anheuser Busch in 1997. Keith loved to play golf, watch sports, listen to country music, dance, spoil his grandchildren and make people laugh.

Left to cherish Keith’s memory are his three children; Kevin (Patrice) Jenkins, Ken (Chad) Jenkins, Keli (Matt) Beecroft. Four grandchildren; Melissa, Connor, Katie and Jack. Six greatgrandchildren; Kasey, Nora, Janie, Micah, Cody and Brenden. His brother; Lyle (Carol) Leach. Including his parents and wife, Keith was preceded in death by his brother Roger (Connie) Leach.
