John Christopher Radloff, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 59. Born to William and Patricia (Chmielowicz) Radloff on October 22, 1964, in Evergreen Park, Illinois. John brought light and laughter to all who knew him.
John was preceded in death by his father, William Radloff. He is survived by his devoted mother, Patricia Radloff, and his close-knit brothers - Adam, Paul, David, and William, Jr. John’s love extended to his nieces and nephews - Joe, Luke, Jia, and Schwen, who held a special place in his heart, and he was the proud great uncle of Crew and Raider. He is also survived by his uncle Reg (Kathy) Chmielowciz and aunt Cae (Tom) Daly and many dear cousins. His pet bird Apollo was a constant source of joy and companionship, as were his best friends Jim Neer and Michael Brisendine.
John’s passions were as diverse as they were infectious. He was an avid fan of the Columbus Blue Jackets, cheering them on with unwavering enthusiasm. His love of RVing led him on countless adventures where he found wonder and tranquility in nature’s embrace. John cherished memories that will be treasured forever. He had a special affinity for exploring new destinations and forging lifelong friendships along the way.
A visitation will be held on Saturday April 20, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a Sharing of Memories at 3:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather at this time to honor John’s life and legacy and share their favorite stories.
John’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His kindness, warmth and zest for life will be remembered fondly by those whose lives he touched. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in John's memory to the Mid-Ohio Foodbank, the Environmental Defense Fund, or the charity of your choice.
